Privacy

We keep it simple and minimal.

What we collect

Only what you give us: a display name, your date of birth and, if you create an account, an email and a password. Game progress and coins are stored in your browser and on our servers linked to your player ID.

Passwords are never stored as text: we keep only a one-way hash (scrypt). When you choose a password we check, anonymously, whether it appears in known data breaches (Have I Been Pwned): only the first 5 characters of a hash of it leave our server, never the password.

Sign in with Google or Apple

If you choose to log in with Google or Apple, we receive only your name, your email and an ID that Google or Apple creates for Zion Games (and, from Google, the address of your profile picture). We never see or store your Google or Apple password. With Apple you can hide your email: we then get a private address that Apple forwards to you. You can stop using it anytime in your Google or Apple account settings.

Emails

We use your email to log you in, to confirm it's yours, to reset your password and to warn you about important account changes (like a password change). These account emails are part of the service.

News about games and events is optional, only for players 18+, and only starts after you confirm your email. Every news email has a link to unsubscribe in one click, and you can switch it off any time in your account.

Emails are delivered by a specialized email provider acting on our behalf; it only receives what is needed to deliver each message.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. Google Analytics and Google Ads follow your choice in the cookie notice (see below).

Cookies and similar storage

We keep a few things in your browser so the site works: your player login, your coins and progress, and your language. These are needed and are always on.

When you first visit, a notice asks what else you allow: Refuse keeps only what is needed; Accept essentials also lets us measure visits with Google Analytics;Accept all also lets Google Ads show and measure ads. Until you choose: in the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google only receives visit counts without cookies; in other countries, measurement and ads are on, andRefuse turns them off and deletes the Google cookies from this site.
