Catch-3 Arena

About the game

Catch-3 Arena is a match-3 game played as a duel. You and your rival share the same board and take turns: swap two neighbouring pieces to line up 3 or more of the same kind, score points and set off cascades. After 5 rounds of 2 moves each, whoever has more points wins. Match 4 in a row and you get a line piece; an L or a T makes a bomb; 5 or more makes a wild piece and gives you an extra move.

Pick one of six animals of Zion, each with its own colour and power: the Cat's Pounce, the Fox's Trick, the Peacock's Fan, the Panda's Bamboo Grove, the Tiger's Roar and the Elephant's Stomp. Every piece of your colour fills your power, which costs no move. Each player also has 4 boosters per match: Shuffle, Hammer, Hourglass and Shield. Play against the robot on three levels, follow the story in the Bamboo Grove with the Panda, or face real players online, climbing six leagues with trophies.

How to play

  1. Choose your animal on the menu and tap Duel (against the robot), Campaign (the story) or Online.
  2. On your turn, swap two neighbouring pieces to line up 3 or more of the same kind. You have 2 moves per turn.
  3. Pieces of your animal's colour fill your power. When the ring is full, tap the power button and then the board.
  4. Use a booster when it helps: Shuffle mixes the board, Hammer breaks one piece, Hourglass gives +1 move and Shield blocks the rival's next power.
  5. After 5 rounds, the one with more points wins. Online, each turn has 30 seconds.
